Infinity Publishing is making a commitment to giving back by contributing to important causes relating to the book publishing industry. We recognize that as a book publisher we can make a difference in a variety of ways, whether it is to donate books that heal and inspire, to promote eco-friendly causes, or to provide assistance to aspiring authors. We invite you to join us and do what you can to support these worthwhile programs.

Carrie Flower Book for Better Days Project

Children’s book author Cynthia Wood Post has created a non-profit program dedicated to encouraging children to communicate with friends and family members about the realities of fighting cancer and other serious illnesses. To help get her message across, Post has written three books about a character named Carrie Flower. Illustrations by Post’s daughter, graphic designer Kirby Brislin, bring Carrie to life on the page. The “book bouquet” combines the book with a Carrie Flower doll that can be used as a tool for breaking down walls and opening up dialogue. In October 2010, the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia hosted the worldwide launch of the project and dedicated each doll sold to the patients at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Infinity Publishing donated the first 1,000 books to the project.  www.carrieflower.com

100 Tree Project with Eco-Libris

Infinity Publishing partnered with Eco-Libris to launch the “100 Tree Project.” With this project, Infinity’s authors have the option to make a $50.00 donation to plant 100 trees for each book they publish. In return, Eco-Libris will authorize Infinity to include an official Eco-Libris logo that reads “100 trees planted for this book” on the book cover. This will serve as a reminder of their commitment to improving the environment.

Unfortunately the ecolibris program is no longer available. We are now looking for a suitable replacement.Eco-Libris, founded in 2007, is a green company working with publishers, authors, and bookstores across the world to “green up” the book industry by promoting green practices, endorsing green books, and planting a tree for every book published. www.ecolibris.net
